According to a Monday Daily News article, New York City sanitation officers are cracking down on dog owners who don't scoop. Since last July, they've handed out more than double the number of tickets (775) than during the same period the year before. In the words of NYC Sanitation Commissioner: "Clean up after your dog or we are going to get you."
