Banning dog from beds

The British are dog crazy, in a big way. So there's been plenty of hand-wringing since the country's acting Chief Vet recently warned that humans who share their beds with dogs are at risk for all sorts of scary bugs and diseases. The solution, according to the Chief Vet, is not just to banish dogs from your bed, but to keep them out of your bedroom altogether. He suggests dogs be kept in the kitchen at night. Ya, right.
